Born in Egypt, studied at the American University in Cairo, granted his (MA) - Masters of Arts in Mass Communication in 1995 specialized in television & media.

Previously, he was granted his (BA) - Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication and Media from the AUC in 1993. He was academically gifted as he received 4 dedicated diplomas in television journalism, directing & postproduction, camera work & photography.

Greeted a Journalism diploma administrated by the Mass Communication department for TV journalism at the (AUC) – 1994. Successfully completed the television training program; reporting, press releasing, electronic newsgathering (ENG) from the AUC, administered by the division of TV news production & TV journalism – 1991.

Electronic Media & News Gathering – 1995 & achieved a professional level in video filming as well as camera still photography, developing & printing (Darkroom) supervised by the journalism department at the AUC – 1990.
